The soursop leaves we use are wild-grown in the tropical climate of Benin, West Africa, in their most natural and organic state. They are grown without pesticides, chemicals, or fertilizers
The primary difference between tea made by boiling whole leaves and tea made using powdered extract is potency. While both offer beneficial properties, the powdered form contains a higher concentration of bioactive compounds. These include alkaloids, which have anti-inflammatory properties; flavonoids, which help protect cells from oxidative damage; and tannins, known for their anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial support.
Soursop leaf powder also provides vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, B vitamins (including B9 folate, which is essential for DNA synthesis and cell growth), as well as magnesium, iron, and zinc. Additionally, the powdered form retains more fiber than brewed leaves, supporting digestion and overall gut health. Its concentrated nature may also enhance nutrient absorption, making these compounds easier for the body to utilize.
